2004
Starts racing in Minimoto Junior in Finland

2006
Finnish Champion in Finnish Cup Minimoto and MiniSuperMoto

2007
3rd place in Finnish National Championship Road Racing in GP125 class

2009
Focus on IDM-series GP125, 20th place in the final standings with a best race result of 5th place – earning him a wild card in the Sachsenring MotoGP race.

2010
Final season in GP125, 5 victories in 7 races in the Finnish Championships with a series 2nd place. 26th in IDM GP125 class with a best race result of 11th.

2011
A new Era with a BMW Superbike begins. Learns quickly while racing in the Superbike class of the Finnish National Championships. Wins the penultimate round of the series.

2012
Continued with the BMW 1000 – Nordic Superbike Champion, 3rd in Finnish Superbike Championship series and Wild Card in Superstock 1000 race at the Brno World Superbike event. A number of Podiums and Victories.

2013
Continue BMW FIM Cup competition: in Stock 1000 class. Late in the season first wild card race of the Spanish CEV series.

2014
Competes in the CEV series of Spain, second in Private Team Series end points and in the whole series of the ninth.

 

Born to a racing family, Eeki is a third generation Road Racer in his family.

Early Days

Eeki started racing with Minimoto’s in 2004, rising through the ranks and winning both Finnish Cup Championship in Minimoto and in MiniSuperMoto as well in 2006. In 2007 Eeki graduated to the GP 125 class, taking 3rd in Finnish National Championships final standings in his rookie year in the series and on a 125cc bike. 2008 season marked a new chapter in Eekis career as he stepped to the international racing scene. Eeki raced in IDM GP125 learning the circuits and the international race life.

2009 season saw a big step forward for Eeki as he continued in the IDM GP125 series for the second season. In 2009 IDM final standings Eeki was in 20th place with a best race result a fifth – performances earned him a wild card at the 2009 Sachsenring Grand Prix.

2010 season was a prelude of things to come, final season with a 125 saw Eeki racing both the Finnish National championships and IDM. The split effort denied Eeki from winning the Finnish Championship title in the GP125 class, but he did conquer 5 of the 7 races. In the highly competitive IDM series Eeki was 26th with a best race result of 11th.

A Beginning of a New Era, 2011

In 2011 season Eeki took on the mighty BMW 1000 bike, and became team mate to Finnish legend Erkka Korpiaho, a former World Championship rider who was to become his mentor in the new class. Eeki learned his new bike quickly while competing in the Finnish National Championships, and put his mentor Erkka in a tough spot a few times during the season, winning the penultimate round of the series in front of his team mate and mentor Erkka.

The 2012 season saw Eeki triumph in his class in the early season, taking a victory and a second place in his first races of the season at Mantorp Park Sweden, and conquering the opening round of the Finnish National Championships with his 1000cc BMW. 3 races, 2 victories and a second place is not a bad start to a season! After a hard fought season, seeing Eeki also with a Wild Card at the Brno World Superbikes race in the SuperStock 1000 class. Eeki was crowned as the 2012 Nordic Superbike Champion and 3rd place in the Finnish Superbike Championship with the top 3 separated by single point! That’s racing!

2104 season was perhaps the best ever what Eeki has race, the ninth in total points of the hard Spain CEV Superbike series, where the speed corresponding of the ex MotoGP series pilots. As well as private drivers silver medal was crowned long and hard season.

Also, BMW's factory rewarding him in their own Race Trophy series, 13th place of the 69 pilots of different nationalities in fourth continental, among the increased profit of  the period and the value of the external types Team Heads of interest to Eeki.

2015 - CEV Superbike spain

During 2015 Eeki will race in Spain CEV series Superbike category and at the same time also the European championships!

Series race is driven in known spanish tracks as Jerez, Aragon, Barcelona Portimao, Albacete and Valencia.

CEV series is an internationally most significant series after RR MotoGP.

Goal is to fight hard and aim to top in CEV Superbike series category and at the same get some European championship points.
